Rutherford Books from Birth's goal is to provide free, age-appropriate books for all Rutherford County children under the age of 5, through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

The cost of the program is $27 per child, per year. This cost is split between the Governor's Books from Birth Foundation and Rutherford Books from Birth. We depend on community support to cover our costs, and we welcome your donations. Rutherford Books from Birth is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. Your gift is tax-deductible. Please choose from the following options:

Sponsor a Child
For $13.99, you can sponsor 1 child for 1 year.

Endow a Child
With your gift of $270, you can sponsor one child per year forever. Your $270 will be invested with our endowment fund to provide an income of 5 percent ($13.50) each year.

Perfect 10 Donor
With your gift of $2,850, you can endow 10 children per year forever. Your $2,850 will be invested with our endowment fund to provide an income of 5 percent ($135) each year.
